Whitney

Greatest Love of All

What on opera singer she could have been.

This is one of my favorite soul songs.

I first heard it performed by George Benson.

Whitney gives it another dimension with the gospel riffs here and there in it--and the incredible range and rapid octave shifts she could make.

She, like so many others before her, will stay forever young.

Not a bad way to go.

Amazing voice I agree. Not sure dying in a bathtub in a drug and alcohol induced coma would be my first choice for my end though. - Michelle

Uh huh, there seems to be some misinterpretation of my remark. I've tried to clarify it in a new post on my blog. Hope you'll read it and that it will clear things up.
