| Shiva and Parvatti |
The wild yamazakura (mountain cherry)
outside our living room window
is in full bloom behind this wooden sculpture
of the Hindu God and Goddess
Shiva and Parvatti
done by a Balinese artist.
We bought it while on a motorcycle trip
around the Isle of Bali during our
honeymoon 30 odd years ago
in the town of Ubud.
It has stood the test of time
exceptionally well.
